Days have gone by since you past,
Tears still fall one by one,
Heartbroken that your time has come,
How will we all live now that your gone,
Missing you lots, but in time the tears slowly drying up,

Year has gone by your gone, but not forgotten,
Now your healthy in heaven and living a full life as you watch over loved ones,
Missing you much waiting for the day the stars open to heaven,
So we can see each other again,
Until such time I will always feel your spirit father in heaven.

Season Go By

Season Go By
Written by DebsB
7-7-2017

As summer moves on by us,
The earth still grows day and night,
With every breath, water drop and breeze you will catch a smell and taste of nature growing and withering,
Summer whines down as Fall approaches,

Fall is coming warm days and cool nights,
Leaves floating to the ground to shelter plants for the coming cold,
Gardens are put to sleep,

Now a blanket of white covers the beds,
For winter has arrived,
Waiting for the first sprouts to break through,
Even in Winter the earth grows,

The first sprout has pushed through the snow,
A sign that Spring is not far away,
New life comes around again as the Seasons Go By.

The Gamer Boy

The Gamer Boy
Written by DebsB
5-21-2012

The boy who lays in bed,
Obsessed with games,
Nothing to do,
Bored to the hills,
Games is all he knows,

Time to grow up,
Leave them games alone,
Do what needs to be done,
You won't be bored,
When the day's chores are done and over,
Then is when it's time to be a Gamer Boy.

A Birds Call

A Birds Call
Written by DebsB
5-20-2012

Birds in full flight,
Birds send out their call,
Chirps here, chirps there,

One bird chases another,
One gives the mating call,
One comes to the call,
Accepted call mating carries on,

Both fly away,
Singing their happy call,
Momma looks to nest,
Laying her eggs a plenty,
She calls to her mate,
That's A Birds Call.

Campfire Smores

Campfire Smores
Written by DebsB
5-19-2012

Pit of wood, sticks and logs,
Light you to a blaze,
Flames flicker in the night,
Slowly flames come to a light flicker,

Marshmallows on a stick,
Slowly turning in the flame,
Roast the skin until gooey,
Graham cracker and chocolate in hand,
Pile it together and you have a Campfire Smores.

Darkness Falls

Darkness Falls
Written by DebsB
3-4-2012

A walk down a wooded path,
Sunshine breaks through
the leaves and branches,
Rays filter in to light the path of a beautiful day,
As the night comes,
I walk the path into the darkness,

Darkness Falls upon the path I walk,
The moon rises as the stars twinkle
The moon rays light my path to guide the way,
Darkness is something to embrace not run from,
Darkness tells a story as I walk my path,
Feel the moons rays, woods and the twinkling stars all around you,
That is how the day comes to an end is when Darkness Falls.

My Fragile Father

My Fragile Father
Written by DebsB
3-2-2012

Father a fragile,
Cane in one hand,
Walking the park sidewalk,
With a bouncing dog at his feet

Fragile my father may be,
Strong will to live,
Father falls ill,
Heart beating to fast
Liquid flows through to slow it down,

On the mend back in the
park steady as before,
That's my Fragile Father.

Night creeps upon us,
Snow flying about and piling up,
Morning comes there is a white ground larger crystal flakes falling,

As the crystal sparkle,
The kids catch those their tongueas they sled down the hill,
Feet of snow on the ground makes this a winter wonderlandfor the children to play,
On this wonderful One Snowy Day!

Winter

Winter
Written b6 DebsB
1-17-2012

Long dark nights,
Short cold days,
Brown leafiless trees,
Cold gusty winds,
Branches sway as the wind blows through,

Animals look for a warm nest for their young,
People sit by the fireplace drinking their tea,
Telling bedtime stories of the old winter tales.

Seed of an apple,
A child plants in the dirt,
Sprout peeks outs winks at the sun,
As time goes by, The apple tree grows,
Big and tall, Child now an adult,
Sits under the apple tree,
Apples begin to fall,
Rolls to his feet, Those fallen apples are now part of an apple pie.

The Myst

The Myst
Written by DebsB
9-21-2012

As night falls upon us,
The myst begins to rise,
Shadows lurk about us,
The myst hides the true form,
Scary sounds fall onto the children's ears,

The myst gets thicker,
No shadows in sight,
As we walk the path,
Sounds keep getting closer,
Children's hearts are racing,
The moon suddenly shines through to reveal cats at play which made the scared children laugh at The Myst.

Autumn

Autumn
Written by DebsB
9-5-2011

As the days grow shorter,
The nights grow longer,
Warm days and cool nights,
Trees prepare to go dormant,
Leaves begin to change,
Red, orange, yellow and brown.

Cooler days, colder nights,
Wind begins to blow,
Leaves fall by the dozens,
As nature begins to fall asleep,
Falls first frost isn't far away.

The Fairy Garden

The Fairy Garden
Written by DebsB
5-11-2011

Garden of beauty,
Flowers a plenty,
Gnomes and fairies gather around,
Spread your magic,
For all to see.

Fairies flutter about,
Tending to flowers,
Glitters here, glitter there,
Gnomes follow tending to leaves and dirt by the moon lit sky.

Morning is early,
As I look upon,
The Garden of flowers,
I see twinkled,
Blooms so large,
I knew the fairies and Gnomes have been to visit our garden for magical creatures.

Pedals of golden yellow,
Center brown as wood,
You follow the sun as it passes,
Leaves green and large,
Stems thick and prickly,
Roots reach deep for soil and water,
Grow tall with many blooms,
What you see is beautiful Sunflower.

Earth Day (Mother Earth)

Earth Day (Mother Earth)
Written by DebsB
4-22-2011

Earth Day is here,
Time to do your part,
Save the Earth in which we live,
By helping by not driving,
Using any electric,
Not using harmful chemicals,
Think of what Mother Earth gave you for your daily needs,
Go green and recycle,
Garden organically to have better tasting food and looking yards,
Mother Earth gave us the tools,
To use our land to go green and stay natural,
Respect is all it takes,
A little water will help it grow,
A little tender love will make you proud,
Remember she grows on her own,
With only the help of Mother nature,
Give a helping hand to her natural,
On this Earth Day we honor Mother Earth.

The Witch's Brew

The Witch's Brew
Written by DebsB
4-20-2011

Fire in the pit burns hot,
Cauldron filled with water,
Beginning to bubble,
Chopped up herbs and vegetables,
Toss vegetables in the cauldron,
Watch the water bubble,
As they cook toss in your witch's potion powder,
The brew boils over,
To give an earthy sweet smell,
The taste is so grand we call it The Witch's Brew.

Thunder rolls through the clouds,
Lightning lights up the storm Clouds,
Rain begins to fall lightly,
Clouds black as black,
Lightning strikes dangerously looking of wire,
Rain pours to flood the yards,
Thunder so loud it shakes the house,
We all jump to head to safety,
Here you have in Ohio a severe storm,
The Thunderstorm.

Shadows

Shadows
Written by DebsB
4-14-2011

Shadows of the day,
Shadows of the night,
I see Shadows on the floor,
There on the wall,
I see them outside,
There on the ground,
Shadows are everywhere,
Are they an evil stalking,
Or are they good trying to warn,
Shadows are the unknown,
Here to stay,
One mimics me,
As I study the shadow,
I see it's me, As I stand before
me in a future state,
Warn me to look deeper inside me,
To help the shadow rest in peace.

The Old Rocking Chair

The Old Rocking Chair
Written by DebsB
4-13-2011

Grandma's old rocking chair,
Sitting on the front porch
Back and forth she rocks,
Breaking beans,
As the grandkids play,
So fragile she gasps,
The chair rocks on its own,
Empty on the front porch,
As we look at the old rocking chair,
Time to give it a new home,
As I sit and rock,
Watching the children at play,
I feel the warmth of The Old Rocking Chair.

The Hollow that Crys

The Hollow that Crys
Written by DebsB
4-13-2011

Living in the hollers,
Where you hear and see,
Trees high up on the hill
A stallion rares up,
To protect his hollow,
The stream below runs over rocks,
Wind gusts through the hollow,
As the gusts come we hear a cry,
The harder the wind the louder the cry,
The stallion marks the hollow that crys.

The Night Sky
Written by DebsB
4-13-2011

Day to nights dark sky,
Black night with twinkled,
Stars shining brightly,
You mimic the twinkle in a child's eye,
Your awesome color shown through,
Starlight rays filter in like a night light,
The moon rises up its face so big and full,
Your rays shine besides the stars in the night sky.

The Path we Walk

The Path we Walk
Written by DebsB
4-12-2011

As I walk the path I choose,
I begin to look within,
To find my hearts desires,
This day in time I follow,
The earth's natural paths,
Paves for all mother nature's creatures,
Who help us to find our way,
In this daily exercise,
We always follow our path to where we find ourselves.

Earths Gifts

Earths Gifts

Written by: DebsB

4-12-2011

The wonderful earth,

Who has natural gifts,

From wild herbs and flowers,

To wild fruits and vegetables,

Firewood to warm you,

Flames so hot and crackling,

Rabbits snuggle up close by,

Birds sing there songs,

The ruffle of leaves in harmony,

As the frogs croak,

In time with the rushing water,

Time stands still all around,

For us to enjoy the peaceful earth.

The Wind

 The Wind

Written by: DebsB

4-10-2011

Wind blowing about

Your warmth circles around

As you move leaves gracefully

Branches sway and crack

Wind lends birds a helping hand

The wind creates small tronadoes

Children giggles as they see the swirl wind moving about

Gentle breeze blow your way through

So we may feel your power

Your strength is needed to

Air out these sorrows and liven up this world

So they may feel the winds grace.

Dreams

 Dreams

Written by: DebsB

4-08-2011

As I lay in my bed,

Stiff unable to move

I look down at myself

Peaceful looking I am

I float away to another place

I feel something is wrong

As I start to panic

I calm myself for what I'm about to see

myself not as today, but in the future

For I see a weeping me, eyes swollen and angry

I feel the pain of having nothing left but me.

Lakeside

 Lakeside

Written By DebsB

4-08-2011

Ripple on the surface

Rocks and dirt beneath

Fish swim through the ripples

Snakes slither about

Ducks paddle and ruffle their feathers as they swim by

Quack they talk to me

Wanting some daily feed

He dunks his head beneath the water to find a surprise

Here comes mama with her ducklings following behind

Joining their papa they swim gracefully away.

The Old Oak Tree

The Old Oak Tree
Written by
DebsB
4-8-2011
Old Oak Tree reaching for the sky
Your leaves so green flying in the breeze
Branches sway side to side
Raven sings it's song high up in the Tree
As it looks with its keen eyes
It watches the girl under the old Oak tree
As the Sun sets and the moon rises.

Darkness into Light

Darkness into Light
Written by DebB
4-7-2011
Moon rises high in the night
Clouds roll over to darkness
Crows fly by a cawing
The chill of the darkness bites
That makes you feel frieght
Clouds pass on by to reveal the light
Moon by night to Light the path
I walk to see nights mircales
Flowers of night open to me
So I may see what's true to the nights moon.

Spring Flowers

Spring Flowers
By DebsB
4-7-2011
Sprout into Spring
Dew in the morning
Sun burns brightly
Sprouts turn into blooms
Blooms soak up the dew
Flowers become as the
Sun burns in the sky
As the Sun passes over
Petals begin to wilt
Bees feed on their nectar
The Flowers petals fall
To make a circle
To match the setting Sun.
